Just some random thoughts......
Hey, look at the story that is breaking over at FoxNews and CNN: Authorities know the cause of death in Anna Nicole Smith's 20 year old son. Yes, losing a child is important, but come on. And besides, wouldn't almost any sudden death of a 20 year old be "suspicious?"
It looks like Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chick's is still throwing comments Bush's way by calling him a "dumb fuck". Now of course the right wing will go apoplectic over this, but I'm confused - Bush is touted as being "tough", "resolved" and "consistent" for refusing to bend when it comes to some of his views, so why isn't Maines labeled with the same sort of words when it comes to her consistent thoughts on Bush?
Political Wire is asking if the War on Iraq is the most important front on the "war on terror" and that if success there is needed for our continued existence (according to Bush), then why isn't Bush really acting like that and giving the military the 300,000 soldiers the on-the-ground generals (who Bush has said he listens to) are asking for?
Reporter Michael Ware is a reporter for CNN and Time Magazine who has reported and written some very frank items from Iraq. He is blunt and to the point. He discusses his surprise over the surprise of recent reports out of Iraq that commanders in Iraq are stating things in Iraq aren't going well at all.
This woman is one classy lady. Kristen Breitweiser makes some very valid comments to Larry King about remarks made by the one hateful blonde who I will not waste time naming. This is the blonde who more or less stated various 9/11 widows have greatly benefited from the death of their spouses on 9/11.
And more quotes from the Chickenhawk right about Democrats,
"I listen to my Democratic friends and I wonder if they're more interested in protecting the terrorists than protecting the American people," House Majority Leader John Boehner, an Ohio Republican, told reporters.
You know what Mr. Boehner, why don't you look around at the folks who have fought and bled for this country that are running for elected office and see if you can see the same thing I see: how few of them are registered Republicans. Just where are these folks at? Oh, that's right, they are drinking beer at college still or waiting to go to Harvard.
When I look around I see Tammy Duckworth and Jim Webb. What do you see? I see Democrats, not Republicans who have put forth, but like you, I won't accuse the Republicans of the same crap you accuse Democrats of - even it we have proof of it.
